There are quite a few documents that you will need to get ready to apply for our student visa in France. The documents that you should start arranging are:
- Completed France Visa application form – There are two types of France visa form, one is for short stays and another for longer stays so make sure you get the correct visa form.
- Two passport sized photos – Regular passport sized photos taken in light solid coloured background which is not more than six months old.
- Valid passport – Make sure to check the validity of our passport before applying. Your passport must have been issued within the last 10 years and it is valid for 3 months more than the end of your stay in France.
- Copies of old visas – If you had others visas to any other country then you need to present those.
- Medical Insurance – You will need to show proof that you have your medical insurance done in case you face some health issues during your stay in France.
- Complete itinerary – You need to show a list of what you will do while you are in France. Put together flight tickets or train bookings to support your statements.
- Bank statements – Copies of bank statements from the last 3 months will be needed in order to show that you have enough funds to support your stay and education in France.
- Proof of accommodation in France – This is needed to show that once you are in France where you will be staying. This can include proof of hotel reservation, hostel booking, rental contract or if your family own a property in France then its papers.
- Police Clearance Certificate – This is vital to prove that you do not hold any criminal record in your country.
- Proof of paid France Visa fee
- Proof of enrolment – This is to show that you are indeed admitted to a university in France and this also supports your itinerary.
If you are a minor then there are a set of additional documents that you will need to get a student visa to France.
- Birth Certificate
- Visa application form signed by both parents/guardians
- Certified copies of IDs or passports of both parents/guardians
- Family court order (if applicable)
- A notarized parental authorization to travel
